Sebring 12 Hours Speedvision Cup 4 Hour Race Sebring, Fl  3-20-98 Can you say wet??  I have never been at a more rainsoaked race!  It began hailing at one point...Thankfully I was in one of the pit boxes overhead pit row for the start.  I then planned to go around the circuit and be back there for the finish. The nice thing about a 4 hour race is you have time to get to different vantage points, and actually sit and watch the race for a while.  It was a good plan...it didn't happen.  The rain was horizontal at times, lightning, hail, the whole 9 yards. The race was stopped for well over an hour, then there were numerous yellow flag laps.  What a mess! The start... BMW hits wall on 1st Lap Trying to arrange things for the restart #41 Mazda #60 Toyota Peter Schwartzott and his brand new Integra #43 Mazda #82 Honda #78 Golf Despite the intermittent showers (and downpours!) and the fact that standing water remained on the track, there was some good side-by-side action...
